Its a little tricky to find, as they go by 'Mayne Island Camping', or some signs just say 'Seal Bay Cottages'. The signs are small and hard to see, especially in the dark.

More suited to self sufficient campers. The sites are all walk in, but not very far at all. The communal facilities include only two sets of outhouses, cooking area with a sink and a very small prep area, and recycling bins. You must pack out all non recyclable garbage. The cooking area isn't big enough for more than a couple people to use it, so I'd hate to see it when it's summer and really busy.

Also the waterfront campsites are $30/night, not $15 as listed in the website. They will probably put you in a waterfront site unless you request otherwise. A little pricer than comparable sites, but still worth it.

We had such a great experience on Mayne, as well as camping here. Wonderful hosts that were welcoming and went out of their way to fit us in another night even though it was busy. Will definitely go back!

Great campground, peaceful and quiet spots right next to the water and a short walk from the town, and the best tree shower I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to come back next season!

There's one big communal fire pit, and a sheltered picnic area. And ONE shower, but its a pretty awesome open air shower in the trees!

My friends and I had a brilliant stay at Mayne Island Camping. The oceanfront campsite was beautiful, the outdoor tree shower was a fun novelty with a great view, and neighbouring campers were respectful. The campground owners were very friendly and accommodating and kindly allowed us to store our gear on their property for the day after we checked out of our site, allowing us to explore the island for the day on our bicycles, gear-free.

Great views! We were lucky enough to have one of the larger campsites at the east side. Bring a boat/SUP to enjoy the surrounding bays. We spent days fishing off the pontoon in the sun. The outdoor tree shower is AMAZING! Such a relaxing place. Jack was very friendly and welcoming, explained all the details about recycling, water usage etc.
